The Babysitter Horse
Hi everyone! I would like to share this layout that I created with this month’s kit at Artful Delight. This is a picture of my son on the horse that my oldest daughter and I ride 3 times a week. His name is Boomer. He’s a real ham. I swear he thinks he’s a dog! He’s definitely our best friend, anyway. There’s a term in the horse world for horses who are very good with small children; we call them ‘babysitter horses’. Boomer is definitely one of those. He loves hanging out with my kids, especially since they always have carrots and mints for him.
I did a ton of fussy cutting of the Carta Bella paper to get all of the little flower embellishments. I popped them up with Helmar Zap Dots and added enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye on top. I used some of my own stamps to create the background. I love my ‘Hello, Doily” stamp from Stampin’ Up. I don’t think that I will ever get tired of that one. My other new favourite is my Bingo stamp from Unity.
I love making flags from banner stickers. Toothpicks are a craft room favorite lately!
