Back to school!
I’m a little slow with my back to school stuff, I admit. We only just started on September 6 though, so I’m only a week off!
This year we started at a brand new school. All summer we watched it being built and wondered every time we drove by if it would be ready on time! It was, thankfully. In fact it was a lot more complete than a lot of schools are in our board when they are opened, or so I’m told by those “in the know” anyway. Our school is state of the art, complete with a roof made entirely of solar panels, enough to power the entire building.
My two older kids couldn’t wait to get back to school and my little one is super jealous. She wails every time I drop them off. She wants to go too. Poor kid. 
I’m hoping that she can join the Pre-School in January so that she doesn’t feel so left out. Right now, she’s a bit too young. Despite this small hiccup, it was good to get back into the routine again. My kids enjoy school and thrive on structure and routine. Summer is a lot of fun, but they also miss school during that time.
