Five Things at Eight — Artful Delight

Hi everyone! I would just like to share my last layout with the February Kit for Artful Delight. There is a sneak of the March Kit on the Artful Delight Blog this morning and I’m really excited about it! It’s really awesome! You MUST check it out!

Here’s my layout. I hope you like it. I printed the picture in black and white to allow me to use any papers I like. My daughter’s jacket is purple — a bit hard to scrap with purple sometimes!

Here’s a close up of the flowers. I created the 3D type embellishments by fussy cutting out the flowers from one piece of Authentique paper and then layering them with Helmar Zap Dots in between the layers. It’s a really inexpensive way to create your own ‘expensive looking’ embellishments. Plus, there’s something cathartic about fussy cutting.
