Challenge

Simon Says Enter a Challenge While You’re Waiting for Santa!

Feel like a challenge? Me too.

I created these two cards for these three reasons (in no particular order); enter the Christmas Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, send my kids’ teachers some cards and use up some of my stash.

Merry Christmas Dear

I used a brand new set from Simon Says Stamp. They are exclusive stamps. They were on sale for 50% off last week and I couldn’t resist. Aren’t they crazy cute?

Gnome For The Holidays

I’m just starting to enter the world of Copics, and I must say… I really love them! It’s like having colouring books and crayola markers all over again!

If you’re doing a December Daily, or you’re a Project Life person, don’t forget to link up your project at Paper Issues. You have 5 more days to link up and enter to win some really cool stamps! If you need some scrap supplies to feed your crafty habit, you can get anything in the Paper Issues store for 20% off using code SCRAPSATION.

Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for visiting.

May Arts & Helmar Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the May Arts and Helmar Blog Hop! I would love to share my latest card with you. I created this card with the November Kit from Artful Delight. I also used this month’s card sketch at Artful Delight. Here’s a copy of the sketch. Play along with us on the Artful Delight Blog!

Here’s my take on the sketch. I used two different kinds of May Arts ribbon, my favourites, the Twill Stripe and the Burlap String.  I adhered them to my card using Helmar 450 Quick Dry, another of my favourite products. If you want to glue a fabric to paper, this is the glue to do it!

The Paper Variety is currently challenging YOU to create anything but a card or a layout. Link up and you could win Crate Paper’s Pretty Party line!

Sadly, this is my last challenge as a Paper Variety Design Team Member. I have really enjoyed my time there, and I encourage you to apply to their design team call. They are a fun bunch to work with and the challenges are exciting and enticing. You have until June 8th to apply.

Here is what I created, I shared it earlier last week on my Blog, check out the full post here.

Amy Tangerine Sketchbook Altered Frame

On a happier note, I’m pleased to announce that I have been asked to be a member of the Design Team for Scrapbooking From The Inside Out – a fun and unique kit club devoted to helping individuals to scrapbook about their inner thoughts and feelings. I’m very excited to start my term there and to be working with the other talented women on the team! The announcement went out on their Blog yesterday: http://scrapbookingfromtheinsideout.blogspot.ca/2012/05/design-team-announcement.html

The Paper Variety Sketch Challenge

Yes, it’s that time again… for another challenge over at The Paper Variety. This one is a sketch, created by guest, Diana Fisher. Here is the sketch. I found this one came together quite easily.

Here’s the prize!

Bo Bunny “Sun Kissed”

Here’s my take on Diana’s fabulous sketch.

Let her eat cake

I used American Crafts’ Amy Tangerine Sketchbook line. The papers and embellishments, along with the hot pink Prima flower, all came from Scrapbook Queens in Mississauga, Ontario.

Here’s my creation…

I made the pink flower out of a long piece of pink ribbon and some double sided tape. The beige flower on the bottom left was made out of flower layers die cut from an old book. I would just like to thank my friend Jody in Winnipeg for sending me this card kit! Much appreciated.
