Altered 7 Gypsies Frame with American Crafts

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share this little altered frame that I created using American Crafts’ 5th & Frolic collection. Fabulous collection, isn’t it? I love the colours. The photo below was taken by professional photographer, Julie Johnson of Vine Images Inc.

I got all of 5th & Frolic collection from Paper Issues (with an awesome discount, of course!). If you are in the retail therapy mood, then drop by Paper Issues and use code SCRAPSATION to receive 20% off of your purchase. Shipping is super reasonable too! I’m in Canada, and it’s the lowest shipping that I pay from any retailer. From what I have seen, the larger the paper crafting retailer, the more they charge for shipping.

I created some depth in the little cubes below the photo by layering lots of elements and using Helmar Zap Dots to pop the items up. I love 3D elements – no wonder my albums look like they are exploding! LOL! I used an Epiphany Crafts Round 25 epoxy and tool to create the ’3′ epoxy.

The die cut heart fit perfectly over the cube and allowed for a little bit of the patterned paper background to show through.
